The worst commercial cover you've ever encountered
What's the worst commercial cover you've ever encountered...
For me it was "The Messengers", it really made the movie look low budget, yet it's one of the best horror/thriller movies I have ever seen...

HaHa... I must have been smoking crack the day I saw this the first time.... I read 'commercial' in the title of the OP and thought you were asking about worst commercials for movies, or trailers...
Now that I am on track... That is a TERRIBLE Messengers cover... And that style for Death Sentence seems to be liked by some designers... making the tag line the big part, and the title the small part!

For me the worst so far is the one I showed while showcasing my cover for this film... This cover by disney is just horrible!!!!!

The messengers cover is the locally SA released cover...I wonder what made Ster Kinekor/Nu Metro (They release the movies locally) decide to make such a crappy cover, it certainly doesn't promote the movie in any way, it in fact it depromotes it...
That Old Dogs cover is really awful, it gives the movie a poor impression... Another really terrible cover is the "Starter for 10" cover, where they have the critical review three times larger than the actual title...

Yeah that Messengers cover is a rank bad one but there are so many to choose from it's almost impossible to just select one
 You can't really blame the designers as they obviously work to constraints from the companies but you'd think they would give the suits some feedback and advice on what looks good and what doesn't work at all. Maybe they do and it just falls on deaf ears.

Haasboy's post makes me laugh...unbelievable !!
here's one...  I don't know what the hell's going on in this cover, everyone looking at different directions. Cook's trying to do what?? One of the worst.
