How To Report Spammers

We all hate spammers. They fill up the site with garbage. They bog down our Forum and use our resources to promote some useless piece of information.

How do we get rid of them? We have a member of the Administration squash them like a bug (or ban them if you prefer).

How does the Administration find out about them? There in lies the rub.

Sometimes we stumble over them, sometimes we see a message in the chatbox, sometimes a PM.

I want to make this easy, fast, and effective. So this is how I did it before I was bestowed the ability to squash them:

In the "Recipient Username(s)" Box:
batboysmatboy ;boneapart ;gravital ;JollyRoger ;shaunofthedead9 ;SilentWarrior ;sleepyhead ;ulookingatme

"Title" box:
Spammer

"Message" Box:
"member username" is a spammer.


It's that easy. The first member of the Administration Team that signs on will ban them.

PS: I keep the info in a text doc so I can cut and paste in the PM and save myself some typing.
