Ok this is my first attempt at making a DVD cover, for the front anyways. just been playing around with photoshop, and currently tryin to make a few more. Hope its worthy.

Is it a full custom? Looks pretty good although it would be better if you gave us a larger preview. You can save it at 72dpi for preview purposes. From what I can see at this stage I would recommend reducing the size of the DVD logo at the front...keep us updated with your progress:)

Yep SW said it. The DVD logo. If you would like a bit more feedback. Edit the post and attacha larger preview. Make sure you read the rules to get the appropriate size.

What size is the cover? Among other things, it must be 3240x2175 in dimension to qualify as a high quality cover.

yeh ive just changed it to 3240x2175

I do not see any problems with the cover in the preview, other than the DVD logo size. As for some recommendations on what to do next. Try and incorporate the effect of the title in the reverse side. You may even want to do it with the cover logo. I think that even if you shrink it the logo will still just be odd looking due to the majority of the cover being black. If you can not mimic the effect right now then how about adjusting the color to one of those blues in the title. For the back... As you have said you have not gotten there yet so I really can't suggest much in the way of feedback.

Very nice - clean cover. Not that I'm a big fan of the movie - but the cover looks nice!
