I recommend that you use Adobe Photoshop to create your covers. It takes some time to learn the software however the program allows you to achieve so much with your creations. There are also many tutorials around to get you started and a lot of help on the fuzion if you need it:)

PS is the way to go around here. You may also want to get Adobe Illustrator. It is one of the best tools for text. Are you familiar with any of these?
