I know this is probably done everywhere, but would like to know what game platform people currently use and prefer. I own and xbox 360 but thinking about getting a PS3 (which is still expensive:mad: )

I have a PS3, but would like a wii for the fun factor.

The Pc is by far the best games machine going, with all the new tech that is available and also the new windows vista that has just launched and also such games a Crisis and Alan Wake to get released the pc will blow the shity consoles outta the water, but hey what do i know ;)

I agree that PC is good but only for the fact they it can be updated more often than consoles. Therefore graphics look great and very quickly outperform consoles within years of their release. IMO though, the best experience comes from console games.

360's are great and hackable!

I prefer the PS3. Personally Sony has always had better games and I don't want to be a slave to Mircosoft. If I had to choose the lesser of 2 evils, it's Sony.

PC only, never been much of a console freak anyways :)

I've gotta go retro here on this one...for sentimental reasons the original NES is still my favorite......Mario, you gotta love him!

Still have PS2 which is collecting dust now , never looked back since i got the PC and look forward to upgrading when DX10 games become the norm.

i used to use PS2 and PS1 before it............but, the PC gaming world was far superior at that time.................I used to sit on line all night playing first person shooters............then got involved in clan based games...........like UT, Vietcong and the Battlefield series................but now i dont play at all:(

Same here i got a xbox/ps2/psp/ds but i spend the majority of time either playing on Wolfenstein ET (first person shooter and a free downloadable game also) on pc or creating covers...

Yep .................. i got wolfenstein to................but, i have never palyed on line with it..............which is kinda strange............i dont know why!:eek:

not the normal wolfenstien you buy from the shop there is a free online game you download install and it's only for online multiplayer gaming where it's axis vs allies top game :)

I prefer the PC. I have Xbox and PS2 and they do get used, but also collect alot of dust :)

i may try this...................but, to be honest i am not into it much now...........the new kids on the block could kick my ass into the sunset.......and i wanted to go out on a high.........:D :D

xbox 360 is a great piece of kit.

always b the PC cos u can upgrage :p no need 4 hacks and cracks :D

I believe the 360 is the console of choice. I have a couple of friends who waited in line for the PS3 and another one who paid somebody 300 dollars to wait in line for him.

Of the three only one still has his. The other two took the system back. Everyone of them also had the 360 and swear that the graphics on the 360 are by far the best out there, other then a gamer PC.

I have played Burnout on both the PS and the 360 and prefer the 360.

The trouble is that to out perform your £240 360 or £440 PS3 you need a pc 3x the price of that. My graphics card cost the same price as the 360. I have mates runing dual SLI cards which costs alot more then a ps3.

I have a high'ish spec pc, Wii, and 360. The wii is great for game play and chipable, the 360 is great for graphics and again chipable, But I spend most of my time on the PC.

Voted for PC, Wii and others. I use the PC nowadays only for graphic editing, surfing, movies etc. i think that the PC as a gaming platform is dieing slowly. Only 3d shooters one after another and rarely new/innovative games.

ive got a gamecube for my kids but by far the pc is my favorite although my bro has a wii and i like the retro game downloads for it

PS3 & Xbox 360 here, both are great but the PS3 just takes the edge over Xbox360, firstly the free online gaming takes it ahead

Also I hear people moaning and bitching about the price of the PS3 everywhere I go but when you consider the price of a stand alone Blu-ray player campared with the price of the PS3 it really is a very good price

I voted for PC and Others. I find that the PC is to stay and will last forever. I also own an Xbox, Nintendo, N64, Super Nintendo and a Game boy. I guess you can say i was a Nintendo fan at first, then went to the Xbox when it came out. Everything is collecting dust except for my PC. =P

My all time favorite is the Sega Dreamcast (tin hat on), I found it to be an underrated console. But out of the new lot I would have to go with the 360 and the Wii, sold my PS3 a few weeks ago, great console, huge potential, but not worth it just yet.

i only use ps2 and xbox and pc sometimes they do for me will wait for the ps3 and xbox 360 to drop in price before i even think about buying one the prices asked for the consoles and the games are well rediculous and i aint paying that amount for any game
yes the games look great but 30 40 quid for a game no thanks

al get one when someone throws theirs out for something new probably
