Hi to everyone at dvd covers fuzion. I'm new here and just wondered if anyone had a good photoshop tutorial to help me get started on trying to create some of my own covers.

Perhaps there are some members who have tutorials on how to achieve a certain effect etc...however these tutorials will not help you learn PS overnight. Photoshop is an advanced program and can take many months if not longer to learn the in and outs of the program. The most important thing is that you learn how to use the tools in PS. Your best just playing around with the program and experimenting. Thats what I did years back.

However having said that, there are some excellent video tutorials designed to help beginners learn the program quicker than usual. Total Training and lynda.com have some excellent video tutorials however they are not free.

There are also cover templates available on this site which make the job of creating covers easier particularly for newbies. However if you need help to achieve something with the program don't hesitate to ask in the 'helpdesk' forum.

I actually did start a cover making tutorial however it is a long way from finished............mainly, because I got fed up with it. I used to enjoy making tutorials but, now they are easily found on the net:thumbup:

The best tutorials actually come with Adobe Software.............check them out:thumbup:
