SilentWarrior 04-20-2007, 06:14 AM wow, that looks really good gravital. I don't think you need any recommendations for change there:thumbup:. I particularly like what you have dome with the back:goodpost:
boneapart 04-20-2007, 08:34 AM Excellent work...
camper 04-20-2007, 10:51 AM very nice work there gravital.. i see your no beginner... ;)
I personally love your menu layout and the way the screenshots are framed...
And since your asking for recommedations, i would have to say that the extremely small screenshot, at the top right, is kind'a out place... this is only due to the other screens being so visualable & nicely framed...
gravital 04-20-2007, 12:03 PM Thanks all. On top of camper's recommendation I will knock out some minor changes and resubmit.
gravital 04-20-2007, 07:17 PM Just dropped in the updated version. It is presented in 14mm and 7 mm spine variations.
J0nn0 04-20-2007, 09:21 PM Superb cover mate,well done.
kylumi 04-20-2007, 09:24 PM I read in a forum somewhere that someone said the were gonna concentrate on docufilms..............was it you buddy?
These are really cool anyways:thumbup:
gravital 04-20-2007, 10:10 PM Thanks J0nn0 and Kylumi.
As for the documentary concentration... Nope wasn't me. I was just in need of a cover for the film. I fugured that it was worth doing one.
rowleysurf 04-21-2007, 05:04 AM movie looks like i would fall asleep to it, but the cover makes me almost want to watch it.......great job!
gravital 04-21-2007, 02:37 PM Thanks for the compliment. I thought the same thing when I first heard of the movie. However, it did actually do well in holding my attention. It is a very eye-opening documentary.
nonini 04-21-2007, 02:40 PM It looks real good gravital:thumbup:
Cheers nonini :)
Danno 04-22-2007, 06:33 PM Excellent work, Gravital - I like your cover much better than I liked the movie.
I don't suppose I could interest you in working on a cover for Wild Orchid / Wild Orchid 2 that I've been avoiding? :biglaugh:
Danno
gravital 04-22-2007, 07:13 PM Thanks NONINI and Danno
Danno,
What did you have in mind?
Danno 04-22-2007, 09:47 PM Danno,
What did you have in mind?
I was kidding, but if you're actually interested in the project, I want a thinpak case for Wild Orchid / Wild Orchid 2 - 2 Shades of Blue, aka Blue Movie Blue (neither movie terribly good, but there's some eye candy to be had).
The cover art for WO1 isn't in bad shape (though I probably need to re-scan it - 'twas an early effort), but I can't find anything worthwhile for art on WO2 - the best I've got so far is a framecap from the DVD for the title font.
I've got about 800 projects on the back burner (moving as much of my collection into thinpaks and gangpaks as possible), so if you're really looking for an outlet for your skills, I'll be more than glad to accept whatever you're willing to do.
On the 'challenge' level, I'm wrestling with a gang thinpak for Ocean's 11 - 1960 and 2001 versions, and another for The Mummy and The Mummy Returns (for which I have good scans and original art, and I REALLY want to do something sweet there) - but with this much to do, it's a lot of 'slog through the list and do 10 'good enough' pieces a day' - nothing to show off here. Anything I can pick up from you and the other wizards here gives me that much more time to put into the ones that I've got resources and skills to handle.
*>whew<* - see what you get for asking a simple question of the yammering Mick?

gravital 04-22-2007, 10:41 PM Let me take a look around, think about it and maybe get some creative juices flowing. I am currently involved with a replacement for The Fast and The Furious that I have been putting it off myself. Either way I will let you know by tomorrow.
kylumi 07-11-2007, 07:47 PM hehehehehe ................... i did fall to sleep:biglaugh:
gravital 07-12-2007, 08:11 PM LOL!!! I guess it' snot for everyone.
