I am going to buy a new printer and was looking for some suggestions. I have currently been using a cheap Dell All In One and the quality is horrible. I have been getting horizonal lines and the colors are off. I am looking towards a stand alone printer as opposed to an all in one. I would like to stay under $300. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!

I think the Epson R300 is the Bee's Knee's... But I have the Epson R300 and also the HP Deskjet 1280, which I use when I want to print anything in A3 size. I also have the Epson Stylus Photo 810 and the (old) Epson 740, but I don't use those two very much...

I went to best buy today and was looking at the Epson Ultra High Def RX580.
It has a tray for discs so you can print directly onto those also. They have it for $150.
The BB employee was recommending to stick with the Epson paper which I thought was expensive and too thick. They only had Matte or Glossy, no semi gloss.
Any suggestions on picking up the RX580? If the 300 is discontinued is this the newer version?
