Enjoy, Darkman20 batboysmatboy 09-08-2008, 12:27 AM I like it so far. Slipmeister 09-08-2008, 02:40 PM This I like a lot. Will be interesting to compare as I have just started doing a pixar collectin also. natlee75 09-08-2008, 06:12 PM Nice! Where did you get those image assets? Enjoy, Darkman20 honestly now mate, i like this cover so much I`m pleading with you to get rid of the barcode, its horrible, it ruins the cover. batboysmatboy 09-11-2008, 03:15 PM I just hit me today. I was thinking about the movie the last couple of days (can help it with both you and natlee75 doing Monsters Inc covers). You have the clipboard, Is it possible to clip the "splinter" to it. I will not get started about my take on the symbolism (for lack of a better word) of the splinter, I just figured if you could, maybe you should. Just a thought Darkman20 09-14-2008, 09:41 PM Yeah, I really like the splinter idea. Anyways, I finally finished it. Please comment. Enjoy, Darkman20 tightline_69 09-14-2008, 09:44 PM Damn looks awesome Darkman Slipmeister 09-14-2008, 10:14 PM Very nice indeed. batboysmatboy 09-14-2008, 10:35 PM Look great, glad you liked the splinter idea. Hate to be an ass, but could you move the splinter to the top right of the clipboard. Two reasons: 1) it gets lost at the bottom; 2) it would above the picture of Boo. If you like it at the bottom, then it's perfect at the bottom. Really great cover. batboysmatboy 09-14-2008, 11:38 PM One more thing. I made a similar note in "Finding Nemo". This is a custom cover ("Proof Of Purchase" doesn't really apply), so if you really want a barcode, use the elements I circled in upc2, and make your barcode smaller and less obnoxious. It would make the cover "flow" better. Also you are using the "Nemo" barcode on Monsters Inc. Darkman20 09-16-2008, 12:16 AM UPDATE! UPDATE! UPDATE UPDATE!:BoomSmilie_anim::AR15firing::boxer: batboysmatboy 09-16-2008, 04:37 AM I'm assuming the guns are for me. Okay do with these suggestions what you will. That UPC ruins this cover also, try one like the attached picture. I was thinking of the splinter in the circled area of the second picture. Your cover, your decision. It looks really good as is. boneapart 09-16-2008, 09:43 AM The update is great... But I noticed that the Clipboard hasn't been cut-out properly, needs a bit more work on the top part of it... Darkman20 09-16-2008, 11:48 PM Another update! batboysmatboy 09-17-2008, 03:29 AM Thanks. It's really looks good. Looks a lot better with the smaller upc (you could lose the upc like you did in Nemo). Nice work (thanks for the splinter) sleepyhead 09-17-2008, 05:17 AM Looking better m8 but that Clipboard needs re-cutting from the original, the top is very jagged and missing bits. The text also needs sorting as it goes over the paper edges. |
