Looks good so far.

Any ideas yet for the special effects (maybe a diplomia)?

When the College I work at has graduation, the have a printed program. Maybe put one on top and break up the synopsis into two parts (left and right sides of the program) First letter on each side could be a Calligraphy type font.

Hows this look?

I like the idea of the mortor board, but it's not working right now. Maybe the hat angle is off, or maybe it should be red. I don't know. I looked but couldn't find any HiRes red ones. Maybe you can color it red if you go that way.

I found 4 diploma frames if you want to go that way. One has room at the top for a photo. Maybe you could make a pic with the 6 people on the back if you use that frame (put them in the top photo space).

Anyway just a couple of ideas. If you want to go with the diploma idea, let me know and I'll give you the links.
I know whatever way you go, it will be top notch.

How about a yearbook for the back of the cover? Have the shots of the cast in photos on the right and have the text on the left? Just a suggestion.

Looks real nice m8.
How about having some kind of perspective gradient between the screens and credits so it gives the illusion that there standing on something. I'd reco changing the capital N's colour in the synopsis.

Does the Spine TT look better as black and white other than just white?

EDIT : Also added another pic to spine, any comments?

Update looks much better mate, diploma works well, not sure if a low opacity image should be behind the synopsis or not, as it looks a little plain just at the top there compared to the rest of the cover, but you dont want to crowd it too much either :)

Bisky

Do either of these work or just leave it blank?

I quite like the first one, as you dont have to focus on the image and it takes the plain background away

Okay, I just got here, and you were very busy. Either of the last two work for me. Both are great. You did a good job on the diploma, Not to be picky, but would it be possible to add a little texture to the diploma and make a beige tone. Really like them.

That's not bad m8 but I was thinking more like this - shadows are not really that good but hopefully this gives you an idea of what I was thinking.

Am not quite sure what you mean, do you mean replace the dark part of the gradient with a light part?

cheers

I`ll give it a go mate, am not sure it`ll fit with the other colours, but I`ll try it and see.

Thanks Bisky. It may not be quite beige, kinda an off-white with a beige tint. The diplomas at the school are that color and a bit textured. Like heavy-bond resume paper.

Looks really good as is. You know me, can't help the last (anal retentive) tweak

Well IMHO it works better than black but the most important thing would be to give them some shadows.

Some need placing a bit better and all of them need to be blurred more and maybe drop the opacity a little.

Just have a look at a few people pics with shadows.
Basically the bottom of the shadow should line up with their feet.
For instance the guy on the left hand side his shadow is too high as is the girl's next to him. I would stretch those on that side a bit as well to get them a similar size to the others on the right.

I have to stop going to work, I miss alot when I'm gone.

Bisky
1) I nearly didn't recognize you
2) Nice work. I appreciate that you incorporate my suggestions into your work. Even though I am a pain in the ass.
3) Like ulookingatme says "at the end of the day you've got to be happy with it also as its your cover"
4) You know I'm going to say it, and no one can stop me:

Another quality Cover by Bisky.

Congrats Bisky, it really looks good. This cover and the label make a great set.

Nice work

You've done a great job here mate. One of the main issue I had with the first previews was the flat background on the back however the end result now is very nice.
