If you hadn't uploaded that title treatment, this whole thing would have been a bust. I just got it last night after spending a couple hours desperately trying to find the title on the Internet (scanning didn't work out so well).

Nat, I'd say you didn't need Billy and Johns names above the front cover. The cover looks better without them.

looks great so far, the only thing i would say is the legal text at the very bottom i would bring it in away from the sides and the bottom a bit as there in danger of being cut off.

Yeah... the more I look at it the more I like that one. The one behind the hand looks physically impossible although I guess Sulley is a huge hulking brute and Boo is a small little toddler.

When I get home from work tonight I'm going to try to tackle pain in the as- er, batboysmatboy's request. I'm going to have to find a different Boo, though, I think... I believe I saw a full body image somewhere online and there are also some images of her in that makeshift monster disguise. We'll see...

Nah, not really. Your first suggestion resulted in a much better cover, I think. It was a bit of work but the result was great as evidenced by other people's reactions.

Thanks for the kind words, I really do appreciate them.

I designed fliers and tickets, and programs for my Theatre Company and so sometimes I look at something and say “hey this looks great now, but wouldn't it look better this way...”, so I was constantly tweaking right up to the deadline, and after it was “finished”, I would look at it and say “I should have done this, I should have done that...”. I drove myself crazy and now I'm driving you guys crazy.

It really was a fine cover when you first posted it. As soon as I saw it, Boo peeked out from behind Sully's hand (maybe subliminally there because his big-ass hand could protect her).

I like the one with boo on the top, looks like she`s on his back without him knowing, which goes well with the film, as he keeps losin her.

Bisky makes a great point, and it is the better of the two choices. So your cover, your vision, your decision. Thanks for letting me be a part of it.

But then I thought, what happens if you take it the wrong way or you post something back that I take the wrong way. It seems we are developing a working friendship here and it would suck if it was derailed by a misunderstood banter.

I designed fliers and tickets, and programs for my Theatre Company and so sometimes I look at something and say “hey this looks great now, but wouldn't it look better this way...”, so I was constantly tweaking right up to the deadline, and after it was “finished”, I would look at it and say “I should have done this, I should have done that...”. I drove myself crazy and now I'm driving you guys crazy.

That's more than I've done as far as graphic design is concerned. My design work is pretty much all web and user interface related and I'm really more of a usability specialist than a straight up designer. On the other hand, I do have an artistic background, even having won Grand Prize in a Walt Disney sponsored national art contest when I was in fifth grade.

Sorry, buddy. I tried but it just doesn't look right. There isn't a lot of room to work with there. Either Boo's face is covered too much by Sulley's ass, Boo's head is cut off the edge of the cover or Boo is at a strange, unnatural angle.

I would consider shrinking Boo but I think the proportion of the existing Boos are pretty good. The only way I could get that to work with the assets I have is if I shrunk Sulley and Mike, too.
