Thats an interesting take on this boney. I like the columns idea and look forward to seeing the back.

Very unique.

There are so many great elements that blend together, it's hard to explain. I really, really like this.
The only thing I would tweak is the font for the title. I don't know what ones you tried, but look at these and see what you think. (if you need me to I can upload them).

Algerian / Cornerstone / OldCentury / Pegasus / Unicorn

Can't wait to see the next step

Thanks my friend... I have all of those fonts... I did toy with the idea of using Algerian... So I may try that or the Unicorn font... Thanks for your input...

Hope you don't mind a noob's opinion about it then I'd suggest that you recess the font into the background colour. It'd give the effect of the text being chizzled into the page.

Thanks for your input metamate... I'll give it a try...

I think maybe keeping the colour of the original TT or a darker grey than the front would look better m8.
On a similar point how about making the Extra Features box recessed and maybe the corner bits embossed and coloured - one of the colours from the columns?

I really, really like this cover. This is a great cover as it is and it is not even done yet. The chiseled thing works.

Two little tweaks that may work.

The "ALEXANDER" needs a touch more darkness to give that sunken feeling. Sometimes when you look at it you get the optical illusion that it is raised instead of sunken. Maybe you could shade it a little. I don't know if that's possible (maybe use the color of Colin's face for the shading, it might tie the two together)

The EF “box”. Maybe increase “Features” in size until it is the size of “Extra”. Then move “Features” to the bottom right so that the “s” in “Features” is positioned so it is the same distance from the bracket angle on the right bracket leg (pointing down) as the “E” from “Extra” is on the left bracket leg (pointing up).

I hope I explained that the right way.

Really smoking cover so far.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

I didn't notice there was a second page when I wrote the above post. I really like both versions. Obviously, the TT tweak in my previous post is now moot. I think the Extra Features tweak might still work. I also just thought of something. Did you try distressing the columns? It might not work on the front, but distressed columns may work on the back.

Both versions are excellent.

I like the TT much better this way m8.

I'd reco changing the credit font boney, maybe to Top Billing or Universal Accreditation looks a bit chunky as it is. I'd think I'd also lose the stroke and change the colour. On the Extra Features maybe go with a darker red or brown I think it's just a little too bright at the moment.

Not much to add as its all been said, I`d maybe change the red colour of the E and F on Extra features, stands out a bit, think a darker colour would ook better, also I think Special features sounds better than Extra features but just personal opinions.

looks really good, prob grab this when its done for my dvd collection

cheers
