My First full cover that ive completed, go easy on me if it looks cheap.:)

I like the layout on this... Personally I would give the picture frames some shadow so as to lift them off the wallpaper and I would add a chain to the frames and then pin them to the wallpaper by adding a nail. I've made a couple of covers that way myself and it's very effective. But having said that, again for your first completed cover, you've done very well...

Along with what Boney says i'd reorganize the spine a little, with the Sony logo at the top with the pic below it and have the DVD logo moved to the bottom, and also reduce the size of the title on the spine as it looks a little big and overcrowded there.

Theres also 3 vertical lines on the spec box that are white and maybe you can try a different font/colour for the synopsis.

Also the barcode you are using is for 'The Dark' this movie is not out on DVD yet so my advice would be to ditch the barcode :)

Thanks boneapart and ulookingatme, Yeah ill revise the cover to make it better, the barcode, logo's,etc, was just taken from the sony pictures template which explains the positioning of logo's and the barcode. I'll do the shadows on the frames and "try" to get some nails on there.

Taking into to account the advice I was given i have made changes, but as far as adding nails and chains, its too much to think about at the minute as seen as its my first attempt, I think i'll leave it.........for now.

I'd reco you go back to the black text for the synopsis m8 and I'd also reduce the leading a little.

The red doesnt do it any justice either, maybe it was just me but the black was a little hard to read thats why i suggested another font, but out of the 2 the black looks better :)

The spine looks much better now, i was wondering how the spine pic would look with a frame around it like the other images?

The back frames seem to have to harsh a shadow them, try reducing opacity a bit. :)
