Hi everyone,

A little about me...

- I live in Melbourne Australia (region 4 land).
- I am a video producer (weddings, music videos, TV commercials, etc.). I also film all the sci-fi conventions in Melbourne. I've met a lot of interesting & famous people because of that.
- I'm married and have 2 young children (sorry ladies).

I'm excited to be part of this site. I was a member of a similar site awhile ago, but it got closed down. I'm glad I found this site now. I love the whole idea of replacing some of the ugly original covers. Another reason I like using custom covers is that I can put together several DVD's into one case. For example, all 3 of the X-Men movies can go in a triple case that uses the same shelf space as a single DVD case. I have many situations like that, and I have saved a lot of shelf space by using triple cases, quad cases, and even more. I recently found a blank 6-disc case that is the same dimensions as a normal single disc case. And it only costs 80c here in Melbourne!

I just hope this site stays open for a long time.

-Michael

(For the admin folks)
I've got a question about my membership...

I joined up about a week ago using the 12 month paid subscription method. My original plan was to be a contributor and get a membership for free. But I needed to download a cover quickly, and I also wanted to "chip-in" for the cost of running a site like this. I still want to be a contributor as well. I can do custom artwork, and also do very good scan work (cleanups, logo replacement, etc).

I noticed that the 12 month paid membership automatically renews itself after it expires. While I don't mind paying this first time, I would like to maintain my ongoing membership by being a contributor. Is this tricky to do since I joined through the 12 month paid membership option?

Hi michael :welcome: to Fuzion.

The answer to your last question is yes if you paid through Paypal there's an option in your account(Paypal) to cancel a recurring payment so if you do become a contributor to the site then you have full control over that.
