Nice start so far m8.
I quite like the front.
I think the spine definitely needs some colour tho I'd reco not leaving it black.

Nice start. I can see some pixelation around the words on the front. You may be saving it at lower quality settings.

Nice start there, have you thought about how a gradient colour of the Yellow on the front to a black would look for the spine and back?

What do you think guys?

The graduation between the colours on the back is a little too harsh.
I'd reco bringing the colours together more for subtler gradient - if you know what I mean.

I agree with sleepy. I would change the yellow to a different shade of orange, will transition much nicer and the text will be visible.

You still can't read the credits and synopsis. Try a darker colour. You might also try another font for the synopsis, don't think this one suits the cover. Great movie btw.

My comments:
1. Change the font used for the synopsis and 'widescreen edition'. Handwritten fonts only suit very few movies and this is not one of them.
2. The yellow has to be changed to a darker orange tone. Like this it's unreadable.
3. Try to blend the screenshots into one another (or at least extend the border stroke in between them).
4. The strokes around the screens on the back and the spine should IMO either be bigger or not be there at all. If the design of the front doesn't include borders around images why should the back have them?

Otherweise it looks all fine.

IM struggling for a font to use to for the synopsis and widescreen edition....any suggestion? Tried the same font as the TT but doesn't look right.any suggestions would be appreciated

Seeing that you are already using 2 different fonts for TT and actor names I'd say you should at least stay in the font family of one of them. Too many different fonts don't look so good.
What font are you using for actor names and what for TT? I would try out different versions of the same fonts (condensed, black, semi or whatever).

hmm, Love the front, but the black is lacking... I'd say maybe a darker color on the top and fade to the color you have.. May work, May not... Umm the screnshots, try to see what they would look like fading into each other. Or maybe get rid of a row, and add Special Features, cause all DVD's have Special Features...

I would recommend two last things: Change the font and color of "A PLEASANT SURPRISE" to the same as the "DAN" on the front and make it a little bigger. The review should stand out more and at the same time you would add the much needed red to the back. Perhaps you could also change the stroke color around the screens to red (try it and see how it looks).
And as a last measure: Align the synopsis exactly in the middle of the two rows of screens.
Then you have a really, really nice cover. As for other suggestions I would take them into consideration for your next cover. There's always something to improve, but this cover has had enough work for my taste.

Sorry, but I didn't see this before, but the red used on the spine and back seems to be a lot less saturated than the one on the front, meaning it's not exactly the same color.
Fix that and then upload ASAP. I really hope to see more covers from you in the future. This is definitely a very high standard for a first one and when you get better in time we have some awsome works to look forward to :)

I have to agree with thorn about the spine. I also look forward to seeing more from you after seeing what you are capable with on your first designs.
