Not really a request, unless knowledge is a request:

Just wanted to hear - coz I have several 7mm spine templates - but all in different sizes, can you believe that.

Well, I built my own, not trusting those prefabricata. My prob is that now I've heard my template is too big! (now where was it I heard that one before!??).

Doing some math here, I reckon: Back: 1535, spine: 85 (half the size of an Amaray) and front 1535 = 3155.
When I compare my thin pack cases with my Amarays - it takes exactly two thins per amaray. No more, no less.

What size do you use???

I've always worked of the basis of :-

ThinPak Single 3150 x 2175 (80 spine)
ThinPak Double 3180 x 2175 (110 spine)

Its what i have used from the template i have attached be interested also to the correct 'standard' size :)

Trust in the ways of ULAM. I have made many 7mm covers and all of them fit. 3150x2175 is my standard. The only double 7mm I have used has no change in spine size as it replaces the insert holder with a disc holder.

Thx guys. I'm new @ making thins, so it was nice to hear from experienced users. I'll adjust my template.

Thanks yo. I'm planning on buying some thinpack cases because I need some for DVDs.

So, yeah, I'm doing a 7mm for Last Days of Planet Earth.
