HI all.
I'm new to the forum and would like to "tinker" if you will at creating a cover or two. I see allot of tools are available here in the forum as well as HELP.
This all started with my cover for Eragon Blu-ray getting damaged and trying to find a replacement. So what the heck let me see what I can do on me own.
with that...

My first help question.

Anyone have a templete for the blu-ray covers. With templete I am assuming it will the correct size? (I hope)

thanks folks
Jake

Yes...................i do have a templateS but, I am not releasing them simply because they were produced by Sandman in conjunction with Sonic Frank at Imandix.

It would be unfair for me to freely distribute these as they were made for one specific site only.

However, I am looking at producing some myself.............but, do not hold your breath.............hehehehe................these things take forever.............:biglaugh:

But, I will look at your Eragorn cover for you if you like!

I would me much thankful if you would.....
I take it that the templete from "sandman" isn't freely distributed,,,, are there any others that are? maybe I am off base even asking for a templete. I am thinking a templete is the layout,, correct sizing, and all i have to do is fill in the blanks, but after looking at some of the templetes in this forum,, i am thinking my definition might be off.

Thanks for your help though..
Jake

You can get templates for every major studio that you can think of and they are freely available on this and other sites. However, Blu-Ray/HD-DD templates have not become commonly available just yet! But, they soon wiil be I guess.

Yes, you are correct about the use of templates for cover design..........good templates are completely editable everything from logos/boxes/text etc can be altered, moved and resized...........you just simply fill in the blank bits like you said...........you can make the filling in as easy or as difficult as you want depending on your ability with the software that you use.

I have started your Aragorn cover by the way:thumbup:

all templates are the correct size............i will post a list tonight for you.

In the main a standard DVD Amaray Case has a dimension of 3240 X 2175;)
