The cheaper asian format of DVD. Basically a movie is on 2 CD discs. They are subtitled. The great thing about VCD is that they are not formatted so they play in both NTSC and PAL systems.

Hong Kong:
Godzilla X Megaguirus - Switchable Japanese and Cantonese audio with English and Chinese Subs.
Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla - Switchable Japanese and Cantonese audio with English and Chinese Subs.

Thailand:
28 Weeks Later - English Audio with Thai Subs.
Aliens Vs. Predator 2 - English Audio with Thai Subs.

Back in about 1998 I have Wes Craven's New Nightmare and Reefer Madness. The quality was horrible.

I watch a lot of VCD's but would never own one as quality just cant compare with DVD plus the lack of bonus features etc

I have a few but there is no point in them if there is a dvd version out there. The only time I bought any was back in the late 90s. Now there is no reason for VCD imo.
