Not sure if this is the right forum but here goes...
Lately (3 movies ago) when backing up movies onto a costly Memorex (and regularly used) DVD-R, my movies are playing fine when no label is stuck. Then, when I stick a regularly used label (Memorex White Matte) the movie either won't play or is heavily pixelated...does anyone have a fix or recommendation? I have used this Memorex combo for more than a year now- this problem is new.

Here are some vitals:

DVD Cloner V (upgraded recently from IV)
Memorex DVD-R 4.7G
Memorex Whitre Matte labels for CD/DVD

Thanks!

The only thing i can suggest is not to use stick on labels and just buy yourself full face printable discs.

The reason being is that the adhesive used gets hot when spinning and this can eat its way through the disc distorting picture quality.

You may be best off asking in a forum like dvdhelp.com who have extremely experienced members on this subject.
I wager all will say ditch the stick ons and used printable surface discs.
