A great movie.....to me it?s probably the best movie I?ve ever seen.

Two things I would like to discuss:

1- Is this a one of a kind movie? Are there any other movies out there similar to the contents of Memento?

2- Is it possible to conceive a condition similar to the actor in the movie?

I agree.. Great Film, You know I was watching something a while back that made me think "hey this is Kind of like Momento" but of course I cant remember what that was now.

The condition is real. Memento was based off a short story... agh, the name escapes me. Anyhow, yes, I'd say Memento is one of a kind. At least, I can't think of any others like it. Chopping your movie up to tell the story is nothing new, but actually playing it fowards and backwards to meet somewhere in the middle is amazing to me still.

There's another movie that I believe predates Memento that's also told from the end to the beginning - a French thang called 'Irreversible'. Not bad, but a very graphic rape scene that's not for the squeamish or impressionable.

Neither squeamish or notably impressionable tonight.

I've never seen anything like it. Absolutely brilliant script. After I watched it the first time and became aware of what was going on, I immediately screened it again. Highly recommended - and really one of a kind!

yes, this movie has the best screen play I have ever seen in a movie. I can't imagine how hard that seriously would be to write simething like this. Great flick (as long as you can follow it......must be watched a few times!!), and actors did a wonderful job as well.
