I know the font is smallish here and there but it looks great printed out. I just did one and the font is perfect. I wanted more space for Barricade and Bumblebee

I think this looks good Highdefjoe. One thing I did notice is that the black levels need to be raised around sections of the back. I can actually see where you have pasted certain elements including the title treatment on the spine because the background is currently a dark grey.

I've had a hard time doing that! I noticed the front is darker but everytime I try to darken the back, it bleeds into Barricade and darkens him as a result. It's not visible in the one I printed but I'm not sure if I can correct it..... bummer

Cover looks good.
It sounds like there may be some type a transparency on Barricade. If the original image has transparent portions that are making the image change with what is behind it then create a duplicate layer add a color overlay in the layer properties. Change the automatic red that comes up to the grey that is on the background. Place the layer directly behind the image of barricade. After that you should be able to alter the background to whatever color with no change to the image of Barricade.
