Very nice, highdefjoe.

I have something for You to consider. Remember that advise given here in WIP is only meant as a help - not as useless criticism.

Overall I like this cover. Why? - It?s neat and simple. It doesn?t always have to be very complex to look good. I think Yours is such a cover.

I think You should try and blend the still pics on the backside, so they?ll blend into oneanother.
You should also consider how many Dolby logos You really need. Perhaps the film has alll these different kinds of sound - but to me it looks kinda ridiculous! I think You should keep Dolby HD, lose the rest.

I think Your idea with an extra pic for the back side could turn out great. Just remember to leave room for the synopsis. Have You got an idea for showing that?
If You want more feedback, please feel free to post here i WIP again. I?ll be more than happy to lend You a hand.

Thanks for the advice. I thought about doing something with the pics on the back but to be honest with you, I really don't know how! I'm just starting with these covers and I haven't figured out what I can and can't do with photoshop!
As for the logos, I just try to copy what the original has for it's logos. If I cut them, what could I use in place? Do you think it would be too empty?

I downloaded them a whille ago! Lifesavers if you ask me! Great logos for EVERYTHING. That's what I'm using for the Universal, True HD, etc logos.
Thanks!

I don´t think, that it will be too empty. You could have Running time etc. fx in a box down there.

I like Your update - but be careful with the synopsis. It should be held clear of the picture.

As for blending the still pics - SW made a guide some time ago - perhaps it could be of use to you. Take a look here (http://www.dvdcoversfuzion.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=1927&d=1189128909)

I think you have a nice and clean design here. Just be careful with the synopsis as JR mentioned. The words 'fellow' and 'that' are too close to the image.

I like the progress on the cover joe.

the recently added cut out pic on the back is looking a little off. I am not sure if it is the edge work or that it just needs a drop shadow or something in the background. Try a dropshadow to see if it looks any better.

Just to let you know, you don't need the region 1 on the HD-DVD cover. They are not region coded. The only reason why you see a Region 1 on the HD-DVD players is for just DVDs.
