Maybe i wasn't in the right mood to when i watched it but i found the first one a bit 'empty' dunno why really but i wasn't overly impressed by it.

having said that i will still watch the second one :D

I feel ya ULAM. It was definately missing something for me too. It was if they rushed through the story to meet a schedule instead of letting it unfold and the story be told.

I just got back from watching the first showing at the local theater I go to and it was AMAZING! This film is miles ahead of the first film.

AVP:R is out on DVD in THAILAND. A month today is when it came to theaters. eThaiCD.com, which sells legal copies, and is a great site to do business with has it on DVD but the DVD only has Thai Audio and nothing else. I was like "WHAT THE HELL!"

Ok , I just finished watching AVP:Requiem . And there is some azz kickin goin on. The Alien has adapted, and the Predator shows his battle face. I think however that there will be yet another movie after this one. We havn't seen the last of our freaky looking friend I don't think. Without giving the movie details away, and leaving some for the imagination for those who havn't seen it yet, I thought it was a step above the last movie. And as Arney said in the first Predator. " It's still one ugly moe foe"

I went through the eThaiCD.com site and they have it on VCD in English with Thai subs. I bought 2 copies and I'm going to be selling one off on eBay to make some money.
