This is very early w.i.p. - just letting You know what I'm messin' with at the moment.

Like your layout. DR.D is lookin a little strange to me though. I think it may be the grey as a highlight. It looks like it should be white. You may want to try and lighten that area or better yet add in a glare effect to the hightlight. It will not need to be really huge just enough to make it presence known.

The only thing that is awkward on the rise of the ... version is the spine. No not the variance in color. That is okay because it is a spanning spine. It is the TT across the spine. It being right of FF on the first one is kinda backwards in my mind. I would expect to see it switched. I guess there is nothing that can be done unless The actual TT gets altered.

As for TT I've already tried out several different styles:
Fan...F... downwards spanning both spines... (no room for "Rise of...")
FF on each seperate spines - a little smaller on the 2nd makin' room for "Rise..." with smaller letters just under the main title... but alas - it just didn't cut it for me... hence this version...

I think the DD on the back looks good to me but like G-man says the one on the front maybe looks a bit outa place......................now if you wanna make Jessica Alba a whole lot bigger that would be Fantastic!!!!!! j/k

Where's the pic of the lovely Alba? Either way, that cover looks great! I never knew what a spanning spine was, now it makes perfect wense!
