Deds 10-27-2007, 09:16 PM cool cover DW m8..... dragonwarrior 10-27-2007, 10:24 PM thanx Deds gravital 10-28-2007, 06:05 AM Looks like a good cover DW. A small reco would be to decrease the kerning on the synopsis. dragonwarrior 10-28-2007, 07:23 AM more like this dragonwarrior 10-28-2007, 07:39 AM that other just didn't do it for me Hmmmmm, gravital 10-28-2007, 07:43 AM No, the kerning is the spacing between the letters. I like the wavy effect of the synopsis and think that should stay. It follows the rest of the layout. By decreasing the kerning the synopsis will be tighter, from left to right. Right now the letters just look to spread apart and it may be difficult to read for some. dragonwarrior 10-28-2007, 07:46 AM No, the kerning is the spacing between the letters. I like the wavy effect of the synopsis and think that should stay. It follows the rest of the layout. By decreasing the kerning the synopsis will be tighter, from left to right. Right now the letters just look to spread apart and it may be difficult to read for some. decreasing the kerning:- how do i do that? googled it (as usual, my best friend) http://www.lyzrdstomp.com/tutorial_kerning/ dragonwarrior 10-28-2007, 09:50 AM howz this dragonwarrior 10-28-2007, 10:26 AM these are the same but this one is not justify all like the last one gravital 10-29-2007, 04:50 AM The one that is justified left and right looks better. To adjust the kerning open the Character/Paragraph tool bar. This is the window that allows you to change the font, it's size, the justifiation, etc. In that window you will see an icon that is an with an arrow between letters. This is the value for kerning. It is normally set to 0 but with the text highlighted you will be able to change the values both negative and positive. If you still are having trouble finding it, complete a search for it in the apps help tool. That will give you more info on the subject. |
