Hey, I started doing this the other day. I'm trying to get back into the mood of making covers after what happened to me a couple of weeks back.

I couldn't find much on the original film. Plus I used several filters on it.

i was doing the same thing, trying to make covers (what i liked) even though they were lo res, and it was suggested to make covers of newer films to get the hang of it. i think it was a fair statment as i feel i'm getting better, my blending needs some work among other stuff, but anyway i would recomend trying to make newer film covers. my two cents

DW is right in that it is easier to create covers for newer movies becuase of the artwork available. Having said that you've done pretty well when considered what you have to work with. You still have a fair bit to do on the back from the looks of it. On the front I have noticed that the tag isn't centered.

Wow that is low rez. I think the filters are making it look worse that the pics actually are. What exactly is the issue with the originals? There has got to be a better way to filter out the low qual look to them. Try a version minus the filters and let us take a look.

I agree with what everyone is saying. With low rez pictures usually the more you add to take away from the image being low rez the worse it looks. I would also suggest on newer films to get quite a few covers under your belt and then tackle some of those eclectic movies out there. I do commend you for your effort though. Keep at it.
