OK an very early wip, not much out there, so the back is a long way off and maybe a nice pic for the spine when they come avialable.

Looks great DW.But I did notice that the Top Left Pic on the back needs altering, the lefthand side of it looks a bit straight and could do with a bit more gradient to take off the straightness.Hope you understand what I mean.

yeah i noticed that, but with it being an early wip, these pic's could prob change also the layout,
just put it up for a looksee
and see if anyone had some ideas or know of some pic's for it
well i was cutting out an oil rig to see if i can put it in some where, but the lass is using the LT so i'll get to finish that later

I agree with boney on the back but I am loving the front cover. I always love dvd covers that look like books.:thumbup:

It is an improvement. However, I think that those three screen caps would look better up top and the two feathered pics sandwiched between the bottom synopsis bocx and the box for the screen caps. That will balance out the hard lines and distribute them through the back equally.

Now as far as your "blending ability" the feathering is nicely done but I think that this type of effect is not the best for this style of cover. You may want to create a ornate border for the pics and just go with one instaed of two. Then set it in like an "about the author" look. Not sure if that was described well enough.

On a final note. The specs and legal stuff on the bottom seem to be set in too close to one anohther. If this is from a template, keep in mind that those are just mere guides and you have the freedom to move things around for the best look.

Looking better, but why not blend the three top pictures together instead of having the white box around them, I think they will look much better that way. Also the second line of the Credits should be moved up to the first line of the Credits. Just my opinion.

I agree with Boney. This last update is the best so far and I think it is coming along very nicely DW. I think the title treatment on the spine could be made smaller.

Have some suggestion:
Maybe you can give the stroke (line) of the border( synopsis and images) and credits a similar color as your tittle color.
This will bring the cover more together.

i did this earlier (well tried it on the synops)but it wasn't as easy as it sounds, give it another go as you mentioned it, best i could do

Update L:):)Ks great. Reco on the ornate border... Give it that gold foil look that the rest have.

"About the Author" def: I had I feeling that I would get that tye of response. What I had meant was give it the look of the back of some books or the back inside dust cover. Occasionaly you will see a photo of the books author with a quick bio.
