I'm currently working on this as a request for cellectra. I have this great poster to work with but very little else. Not quite sure what to do with the back (got some ideas flowing) yet so if anyone has a great idea shoot away.

From reading the tagline I would go with an submerged flight cabin/ passenger compartment scene. Have it dark and maybe a few unserwater lights shining here and there. You could put the special features, synopsis, and screen caps as waterlogged and paper and photos floating around. For refereance take a look at some films that have a similar set up. The Abyss, pretty much any submarine film

Damn the first time I looked at it I thought the plane was falling off a cliff, then I read gravitals suggestions and went back and took a second look. Didn't even notice the water. I agree 100%, a darker tint with the underwater part would help greatly for people like myself who only glance at an image. I like the poster work, can't wait to see what you come up with.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

@SOTD: Ill have a go at tinting the water particularly on the back to emphasize the water some more.

@Gravital: I was thinking about having photo's luggage and other debris floating in the water but this doesn't really fit because when you look at the plane, its relatively intact...even though you would expect it to be damaged once crashing into the ocean and especially the bermuda triangle:omg:

I guess the person involved with research of plane crashes was high when they said "yeah the plane won't break up on impact"! In a perfect world maybe. :D

Love that image.

If you look to the left of the wing, there's an extra shadow from the wing tip on the water from cloning. Might want to get rid of that.

And I think the coloring of the image looks fine as it is. The plane IS falling off a cliff. It's just a submerged cliff and the planes tail gives that away.

Thanks for the comment spartanstew. I will need to fine tune the cloning and remove the shadow.
