For CoverPro... no.
Why not just purchase the serial. It really is not at all expensive and is well worth it.
There was an earlier version simply called cover. It was free but was unable to display labels. It also had no ability to cast a reflection, create varied presentations, or doutone backgrounds. It was a very simple tool that pretty much just gave you a glimpse at what the cover would look like if the case was opened and facing you.

I've been using for quite a while the free version of this program, it's cool. But the pro is much better. This is what i've been looking for. I'm still trying it even with the watermark just to see the possibilities. I might buy the licence. Just great.
