Thanks to all who participated in the Fuzion Cup for our first ever competition! Unfortunately we only had a total of '3' entries, but we hope more members can partake in next months competition.

This month's theme was 'the elements'. Each entry needed to include one or a combination of fire, earth, water or air/wind.

Below are all three entries, which are directly linked to the full sized versions in the gallery. Remember to read the description where the artist has explained how he/she met the criteria.

The entries are anonymous so please do not try to guess or discuss who the original artist is.

Any member of this site can vote. Voting ends on the 26th of this month.

They are all extremely well done but I like the Crow best. Congratulations, all.

wow first off congrats to all 3 very nice indeed but i think my vote goes to hellboy one,i like the texture its like a hard back book not seen this done before nice work indeed :)

All three are excellent. Being a fan of the old west my vote will have to go to the "3:10 to Yuma". It's a bit grainy for my taste but it's still great.

Nice work fellas.I did start a cover for this, but i'm going through some tough personal problems atm, i just haven't had the inclination to do much at all lately.
Hopefully i'll make one for the next compo.....Well done all 3.

They are all very good and I would use them all but here is my rundown...

Hellboy - I think the back is too plain but I do like the smoke from the gun a lot. Overall, it is very good but I just don't think it is the best.

3:10 to Yuma - I like this one a LOT...I am not a fan of westerns so to actually make me want to get this movie just to use this cover is saying plenty. I like the smoke from the gun...just enough to make it standout and I really like the dust cloud at the bottom but overall even though I like it a lot it isn't my favorite.

The Crow - My choice for winner, because it looks outstanding and has many cool effects like the singed screenshots and the blend of the silloette of Brandon Lee and the crow fire symbol. Also the cover is just great, the rain and the fire mix is great plus the way the rain is falling and the way the fire is burning makes it look like wind is doing that. I pick this one because of all the things I noted above and the fact that he managed to include all the required elements without taking anything away from the cover itself. VERY NICE, indeed.

Summary,
- 1st place - The Crow
- 2nd place - 3:10 to Yuma
- 3rd place - Hellboy

I vote 4 the crow its just dam good

Wow, wasn't easy to just pick one. even though the 3:10 to yuma really looks the most professional. Just liked the "look" of The Crow the best.
Note to The Crow poster... almost to busy (especially the dvd) in my opinion, but you still got the vote with me!

All of the entries are great covers! Thank you to all contestants for sharing your work. It's a difficult decision but my vote goes for the 1st entry, "The Crow."
I think it's excellent in capturing the theme elements and the black and white image of Brandon Lee and bright blazing fire below is very intense! The Crow Cover just really jumps out at me and gets my attention right away.

The Crow has my vote!

All 3 are good, but for contests I try and be extra critical.

1. The Crow - great colors and layout, but a couple of things jump right out at me: The DVD logo on the front bottom right. Almost seems like it's not supposed to be there, but the artist either forgot to remove it or forgot to make it black. The synopsis doesn't really flow grammatically and I'm not keen on the way it overlap one of the pics on the back.
2. Hellboy - excellent cover. Really like the coloring and the way the layers come together. The whole cover is technically sound and I really like that style of label (less is more).
3. Yuma - Very nice. Obviously a lot of work went into this cover. I would have preferred to have the spine pic either framed in or blended a bit better. I also think Crowe's blue eyes don't fit with this style of cover and the faces on the label are too obscured.

My vote: Hellboy

All 3 are great and should deserve 1st place. That being said my favorite goes to 3:10 to Yuma

I do like them all and would DL them if i had these movies.

I like HellBoy also, nice texture.

All three are very impressive. But 3:10 to yuma gets my vote. I like the sepia tone

All are excellent, and it is going to be tough to choose between them..

I'm a big fan of the crow and think the cover is brilliant and captures the feel of the movie very well. I love the storybook clean look of Hellboy, and 3:10 to Yuma is gloriously composed.

I went with The Crow because it was done in a original style, a fresh approach from the other Crow covers. I also liked the way the screen shots were displayed on the back, looks like maybe dreamsuite? They are all good but ya have to pick just one.
