I have been playing around with PhotoShop CS3 and have found away to take images from a Quicktime Movie Trailer. For this to work you'll need to have Quicktime Pro installed on your computer along with PhotoShop CS3.
1.) Open PhotoShop and goto Window and click Aminmation you will have a new window at the bottom of PhotoShop.
2.) now goto File/open/ and find any video format that is MOV,AVI,MPG,MPEG,MP4,M4V Now in the layers panel you will have an icon the looks like a film strip and the animation bar will show you the timeline of the film. Now you can either press play and pause it when it comes to the scene you want or you can tip thru the film one frame at a time.
3.) Once you have the pic you want all you have to do is use your marquee tool and outline the part you want, right mouse click it and layer via copy. and it will save your selection. Drag your new layer down below the film layer and select your film layer again and continue till you have all the scenes or images you want.
and there you have it. An easy way to get high quality images for new movies without searching all over the net. I have found it works best with HD movie trailers. I get most of mine from http://www.apple.com/trailers/ I hope this can be of some use to someone out there.
