Each design you have uploaded has become better each time. You have come a very long way in a very short time because you obviously can design and seek advice to make your work even better.
I like both your versions, just some minor things I noticed. There seems to be a gap at the top of the cover. You will see it when looking at the top of the spine and top of the back.
The text on you synopsis has jaggy edges. You can apply some anti aliasing in photoshop. I have attached an image to illustrate how to do this in case your are unsure.

The anamorphic widesreen logo at the back is overlapping.
I would change the marvel logo which looks kind of low res compared to the others. I uploaded a marvel logo in my recent logo pack thread in tools of the trade section.
Finally remember to change the specs on the back. The one in the template you used in generic. For instance language will be english, spanish, francias etc. Change the running time and you may also have to change the rating (I'm not sure if it's PG?) Anyway you can chack specs such as language and running time on imdb.com
Overall they look great mate :)
You say you aren't 100% happy...what do feel you need to change?

thanks for the tips silentwarrior not happy with the spine at the min just dosnt give it the finishing touch i want. i forgot about the edge on the back have sorted that now. apart from the little tuch ups its the spine that i am not happy with......i am going to give it a few days i think going to start one for "shooter" then hopeful will come back to it with a few ideas.......once again thanks for the many pointers silentwarrior.....

OK here is what you do....................remove the spec box completely......then get yourself a nice marvel logo...........yours is "blurry"..........go here for your logo.......... www.brandsoftheworld.com/!
Its a good idea to try and stick with just one main front cover image when using a separate layer for your spine................eg........front image = blue spidey......then use the same blue for your back cover and spine.............. using another hi-rez image you can overlay this on your back cover but, only using 50% of it.............then dot your stills around that image then add your text around them.................
I know it sounds a lot..............and from what i can make out you are just starting out...............so i congratulate you on your achievements.......so far;)
The main thing is this templates are great and supposed to be helpful for guys starting out..................in reality they are a hindrance and detract from the artwork ...........these things are best left to the specialist............just my opinion buddy..............
Look forward to seeing how your covers turn out..............keep at it..........its the only way to learn:)

not be harsh but this cover has been done to death if want this cover to become great u should look into textures and different designs so this cover dosen't become the same kind of design seen to others, try looking into different effects i know 1 person who has created the spidey suit as he's dvd cover background; do u understand what i mean. i am not trying to be mean i'm trying to make u see outside the box think more random and i'm sure u'll do fine.

This was Hitman's first cover and I know he worked hard on it. I'm sure he'll experiment with different effects in future designs:jedi:

Great work for a first attempt. My first cover was nowhere near as good as this. Just keep it up and you'll get better and better as the time goes on...

Looks greaqt to me i wish my first is as good as that :)
Only a few things i can see and its not design as im a very very newbie etc and havent earned the right to comment as yet but the runtimes wrong as is the spelling of Tobey M'E'guire, the screen ratio 2.85.1 is blurred too.
Another thing but im not sure how you go about changing it is the Barcode, its for the film 'xXx', now i add all my dvd collection to DVD Profiler via barcode so that would bother me, but seeing as the film isnt out on DVD yet its hard to get a right barcode unless someone knows different, maybe leave it off all together?
Apart from thos little things and the ones the experts have pointed out you got a really good cover there

thanks for all the comments guys like silent said it was my first real cover i did this cover first as a really like the spidey films so it would give me that little more conviction on the designing of it. it was more for the designing than the film..........anyway i have been a way for a bit but back now got some covers to be finished at the min will get them finished and up loaded soon.........
