In Reality I'm just trying to clean the DVD Players in our home. So We bought the "Philips Laser Lens Cleaner with Audio System Check" this would be Item #SAC2560/27
Well I've read and herd Different things such as, the little brushes on some of the Cleaning Discs will Actually damage (scratch) the lenses. So I don't wanna do that and I'd like to find out what you guys use? Thanks I look forward to your replies,I haven't even opened this Disc yet

Well I just cleaned one of my DVD players today...the damn this just kept skipping. I could tell a few months back that I would need to clean it when it loaded for longer than usual and started to make strange noises.

I use CD/DVD laser cleaners. It has 2 small brushes attached and it actually works. I never heard about the fact that the brushes can damage the laser. I have been using laser cleaners for years and haven't had any problem. Having said this, the laser cleaners I have used in the past have always had soft brushes. Anyway, this is just my experience....
