Anyone here print thier DVD labels direct onto DVDs?
If so, how do you use/set-up a Photoshop templete to print to the DVD?

I dont mean the template for the size of the DVD itself.
I am talking about how to tell PhotoShop to direct the printer as to where to print on the surface area.

I know I am most likely not making myself clear, but anyone that does this all ready will probabely understand what I am asking.

I just cant seem to get the image to print squarely(roundly) onto the DVD itself.
It is always way off center.

I use an Epson R320, but most all the R series Epson printers use the same format.

I am currently using Acoustica label printing software, which is made for folks like me, Idiot Proof.

I would love to get into using Photoshop for printing Labels and Covers instead.

Thanks in advance for any help on this.

Yes I do have a few "label printer" software.

I want to get away from using these and start using PhotoShop.

I just cant seem to figure out how to get Photoshop to center my printing on the DVD.

I am sure it is something easy or I am doing wrong.

Just getting tired of wasting the Discs with bad prints.

It seems like you're making a big hassle for yourself.....i use CoverXP for printing covers, and Epson Print CD, for the discs.Sooooo easy.

When you say print labels directly onto dvd do you mean as in Lightscribe?? I do this but I have a Lightscribe capable DVD Burner. I thought that's what you meant when I first started to read ur post but then when u mentioned "printer" I thought ....... I must have misunderstood ur post. You're not talking about actual paper labels are you? If so, when I used to print paper labels, the label software had templates for that already. All I had to do was pick the pic I wanted and if it was off-center then all I had to do was click on the different things to move(center them. Then I'd hit "print." Is that what you mean? I hope I haven't confused u even more. :-)
