About once a week when using PS3 i get the little updater icon appear and it says uploading updates, the thing is it always stays at 0% and never updates anything but im sure it slows my pc down, i cant even get rid of it as when i press cancel it just stays there until i reboot :(

Does anyone else have this problem or does theres update ok.

I would like to know how to disable it if it doesnt actually update anything.

Before you ask no i havent checked adobes site, but i will soon , just checking first here if anyone else has this issue :thumbup:

Are you running a firewall?Either Windows firewall or another one?If you are, then maybe it is blocking the Adobe Updater from accessing the internet.
I use Sygate Personal Firewall, and i've "allowed" the updater to access t'internet, so i don't get any probs with mine.

I use kerio firewall but usually if theres something trying to access i get given the option to block/allow etc but with the updater nothing happens at all?

I'll have a look at the settings to see if it is being blocked. :)

I had that problem and I unticked the box that said 'download only when internet connection is idle' and it finally started downloading.:)

Whereabouts is that SW?

Since I have been using CS3 I don't think there has been anything major.

Oh well cheers SW at least im not missing out on anything but its still a pain as to why its not updating, i may try a re-insatll and see if that helps :)

Ok 3 months on and finally i have some update action going on lol :D

Havent a clue why but i was just going to shut it down as i usually do when i noticed this time the download box was different, its the same as what SW had posted(it has never showed up for me before) so i unticked the box and it downloaded about 20 updates lol

Very weird but at least its now updating :thumbup:

It must have hated you before and now it likes you :D
