Have not seen the film so excuse my comments if they are off point. Some things that look odd to me are:
The degree of wear on the cover. Specifically the front. I think that it is just to much. It may possibly look better if the opacity was taken down or the sctatches/cracks were darker?
The Font used does not seem to fit the preview that I have seen for this film. I think that it looks too modern for the movie.
Hey they are just thoughts take them as you will or don't. Other than those two things I think the rest looks good.

I like the second image. But I like the idea you had on the first image. Other than that great looking covers!

I like both covers! - But on on both I have to say - I personally do not like the way You make the spine stand out. You can in both cases easily blend it into the front/back!

I do not see that there's any continuity between the 2 versions - for me, well it's two different covers all together - one cracked one totally clean...
Both look good to me (except from that spine thing) - but then again - I have no knowledge of the film whatsoever...

Anyways - I'll give You a little input:
On the cracked cover: synopsis font does not quite do the job! - change it into something juuuust a little more flamboyant/curly to keep/put emphasize on the style of the cover- and try to keep the synopsis into the light area 8or extend the light area).

On the 2nd: I think that the credits/special features and logos take way to much space - they should not take more than approximately 1/3 of the entire backside - except in cases where You do a little extra for special features...
To me the credits look WAY high - take out a line or two - that'll give more work space/space for pics. I like the top back of that cover - looks cool how You blended the pic in - just under the bar -and nice stills in that bar! - great job there..

Hope this comment is useful for You, m8...
