Congratulations to Demonology for taking out the Fuzion Cup with his entry for "The Terminator". Antistatic placed second with his entry for 'Dune', while Newbie1 scored the third spot with his entry for 'Star Trek'. Click here to discuss the results of the March competition.

» The High-Def War Continues |

 For a second month in a row, HD-DVD has trailed behind in sales. The formats competitor Blu-ray has yet again exceeded HD-DVD February sales by 2:1. According to industry sources, 125,000 HD-DVD movies compared to 250,000 Blu-ray movies were sold in February alone.
Overall figures reveal that Blu-ray holds the HD market share. Analysts explain that Blu-ray's ascension is largely due to the amount of titles that were available at the formats release. Meanwhile consumers are tied between this format war, in many cases confused and undecided about which format to support.
Rich Marty (Vice President, Sony) predicts that the gap between both formats will widen with the release of Casino Royale, exclusive to Blu-ray.

High definition movie titles are at this stage limited. However over time we hope to see more high definition titles emerge and with them a greater selection of movie cover art.
